About

Conscious technology.

Making software conscious.

Samvit (संवित्) is Sanskrit for consciousness: awareness, knowing, and the knowing that you know. We chose it deliberately.

Why the name matters

Most software does not know what it is doing. It stores a number without knowing where the number came from. It copies a foreign spec that is wrong in Nepal. It answers confidently with nothing behind it.

We build the opposite. Every number in our products knows its source. When two sources disagree, the system writes down which one it believed and why. When it is not sure, it asks a person instead of guessing. And when our assistants answer a question, the answer comes from a real document we can point to.

That is harder to build. We think it is the only version worth building.

What we do

We make our own products and run them ourselves: EV News Nepal for anyone buying a vehicle, PaisaBachau for anyone shopping online, and notesharu for students preparing for exams. We earn from the products themselves.

We do not do client work. No consulting, no outsourcing, no reselling someone else's software. Everything we ship is ours, which means every mistake is ours too. That keeps us honest.

We run lean on purpose. Day to day the work is carried by five or more teams of AI agents working in parallel, each on a narrow, well defined job, with a human setting the direction and signing off on anything that ships.

Milestones

How we got here, and where we are going.

Three years of building, mostly at night, now a registered company.

  1. 2023Started building the price engine that became PaisaBachau.
  2. Dec 2024paisabachau.com went live. People could finally compare prices across Nepali shops in one search.
  3. May 2025EV News Nepal launched and began building the vehicle database.
  4. Jun 2026PaisaBachau arrived on Android and as a Chrome extension.
  5. Jul 2026notesharu launched for TU students, then added BIT and NEB.
  6. Aug 2026Registered as Samvit Tech Private Limited. Being a real company lets us hire properly, sign partnerships, apply to programmes and take investment, so the products can grow beyond what one person can carry.
  7. Sep 2026Passed 8.4 million appearances in Google results across the three products.
  8. NowMaking every answer better: more solved papers, more vehicles, better matching.

Why Nepal first

Nepal is not a smaller copy of somewhere else. Take cars. The same model sold here is not the same car sold abroad, because importers raise the suspension for our roads, fit a smaller motor and drop features along the way. So the spec sheet printed overseas does not describe the car you actually drive home.

It is the same story everywhere we look. Prices move in their own way across local shops. Our universities set their own syllabus. And much of the study material students rely on is handwritten in Devanagari, which most AI models read badly.

Nobody had solved any of this, which is exactly why it was worth doing. The data we have built up is the real asset, and it cannot be copied from abroad.

Awareness at the centre, structure radiating outward. The mark is the same idea.

The team

Milan Mahat

Founder

Builds and runs all three products end to end: the crawlers, the scanning pipelines, the model layer, the websites and the servers underneath them.

The way that is possible is agentic engineering. Rather than writing every line by hand, he runs five or more teams of AI agents at a time, each with a clear brief, a narrow scope and a way to check its own work. One team may be scraping and cleaning data while another writes tests and a third rebuilds a page. He sets the direction, reviews what comes back and owns every decision that ships.

It is the same idea our products are built on, turned inward: let the machine do the volume, keep the judgement human.

One founder, 5+ AI agent teams, three products in production, shipping daily.
